Welcome to Spring View Medical Centre

At Spring View Medical Centre we strive to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Our doctors, nurses and all our other staff are dedicated to offering a professional service and our surgery website will help us to keep all our patients up to date with news and information about our practice.

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like. We can use your ideas to improve our online services and further develop the content of this site.

Pride in Practice

Pride in Practice is a quality assurance support service that strengthens and develops the practices relationship with our lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) patients within the local community. Endorsed by The Royal College of GP’s, Pride in Practice is a support package that enables the practice to effectively and confidently meet the needs of our LGBT patients.

Pride in Practice has been designed to make life easier for clinicians, practice managers and staff. The service works in partnership with you and your team to meet the increasing demands placed on you from policy makers, patients and staff, and to improve patients' experiences of your service.

The Pride in Practice award demonstrates your practice’s commitment and dedication to ensuring a fully inclusive patient-centred service.  The award is attained through a short, efficient and focussed self-assessment process which highlights your service’s strengths and any areas where LGBT Foundation can offer you support to develop.o develop.

Friends & Family Test

From the 1st December 2014 all GP practices are required to ask patients the Friends & Family test questions that will be monitored by NHS England on a monthly basis. The two questions are as follows:
  • How likely are you to recommend our GP Surgery to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?
  • Can you tell us why you gave that response?

Please feel free to offer us your opinion of how you think we measure up against these questions by clicking on the 'Friends & Family test' tab at the right of the page .  Your feedback is valuable to us.
